Apply for InSCAR Member/Young Faculty/Trainee
The International Network of Scleroderma Clinical Care and Research (InSCAR) was established in 2011. It has played a positive role in promoting research and clinical training of systemic sclerosis (SSc) and has achieved remarkable success.
Currently InSCAR members have come from all over the world including the United States, China, Britain, Japan, Spain, South Korea and other countries. In order to further promote the work of InSCAR, and to unite more physicians, scientists and health professionals to the field of SSc, the InSCAR Steering Committee has decided to open membership to all domestic and international individuals who are devoted to the research and treatment of SSc.
Applicants for InSCAR member are required to meet all of the following conditions:
1. Active in clinical and/or research activities in SSc.
2. Active in publication of SSc related clinical and/or research papers in medical journals as a corresponding author.
3. Clinical, research and teaching appointment as a medical resident, fellow, attending, faculty and/or chief in the institution.
For those who have published a research paper as first author (not corresponding author), and is under resident training, fellowship training, they can apply for young faculty, or trainee (applied by graduate student).
The valid period of membership is three years, and is renewable. Member is asked to attend at least once InSCAR annual meeting or other academic activity during his or her membership years, otherwise the membership could not be renewed.
Trainees can apply for Young Faculty and Young Faculty can apply for Member if they meet the requirement respectively.
Currently, no membership/young faculty/trainee fee is required. Member will benefit from participating in the annual meeting of InSCAR and receive relevant research information provided by the InSCAR.
Applicants are requested to download the application form from our official website (www.inscar-global.org), complete the application form, provide a representative paper scan and send by E-mail to member@inscar-global.org
Membership Credentials will be granted at the annual meeting of the InSCAR upon approval by the Steering Committee.
